I tried to reproduce it but could not.  As I said, my best guess is
that there was some old version of libreoffice running -- I do not use
quickstart -- but this was dismissed as a possible cause for the
exception.  I am sorry that the cause of the problem seem to have
disappeared.  If I have some time in the coming days, I'll try to
upgrade another machine to see whether the problem shows up again.
