To whom it may concern,
I would like to apply to change my status in Debian from Debian Contributor to Debian Developer, uploading.
I have spent more than 20 years on and off involved with Debian community.
In the beginning I was involved in localization Debian Localization projects, mentored by Christian Perrier aka bubbule.
Later on, spurred by my attendance at DebConf5 in Helsinki, Finland, I decided to help the DebConf Organizer Team and have been a part of it for DebConf{6,7,9,10,11}.
Life has gotten a better part of me since 2011, and I have mainly focuse on promoting Debian and using it as my daily driver.
Since the last 2 years or so, I have become more and more involved with bug reporting and co-maintaining packages, mostly within Debian Games Team, but also, other packages as I saw needed.
I am very invested in Debian in particular, and FOSS in general. Debian Community is a like a family to me and I would like to keep learning and perfecting my packaging skills in keeping with the finest Debian uncompromising traditions of quality and reliability and freedom.
Hereby, I understand that I am applying for a Debian Developer, uploading status - fully aware of the rights and responsibilites it bears. My promise to You, the Debian Community is that I will use Debian resources which would be avaiable to me responsibly and in full accordance with Debian rules and regulations.
I will do my best to dedicate my volunteer work to the Debian standars and policies.
My current Salsa projects [1] are available as public record of some of my efforts.
Thank You for consideration.
Safir Secerovic aka sapphire
