For most I'll continue to just drive PRs through Salsa, but at > least for DPDK (and maybe later more) I'd want to reach the next level > and help also uploading new and updated versions. > > Christian Ehrhardt (via nm.debian.org) I am not a DD, so I can't officially advocate Christian's application, but still I want to spend some words supporting it. I know Christian Ehrhardt <christian.ehrhardt@canonical.com> personally and I am familiar with his work on the dpdk Debian package and on the Ubuntu Server package set. He is fully able to handle complex packages, his technical decision are thoughtful and solid, taking into account their implications. He is able to interact positively with our community of developers and users. Last but not least, Christian is a responsible person with a great sense of commitment for what he does: his contributions go beyond scratching his own itches and the standard he aims to is always very high. The effort he puts into the dpdk package is a good example of this. Christian Ehrhardt fully understands the principles Debian is based on, and I support his request to become a Debian Maintainer.
