I already thought about picking > up gadfly, but it seemed that someone already adopted it. I've already > been helping to bring the old icecast packages in Debian into compliance, > and just had a new icecast-client package uploaded by my sponsor a few > weeks ago. 2. Philosophy and Procedures ----------------------------- Jack has a good understanding of Debians Philosophy and Procedures. He answered all my Questions about Social Contract, DFSG, BTS etc. in a good way. 3. Tasks and Skills ------------------- Jack is Maintainer of ipython, which is currently in Debian; he is sponsored by kmr, who also advocated him. Jack has also done an NMU (sponsored by fog) of icecast-client. Both of those look fine. His answers to my T&S questions were quite ok. 4. Recommendation ----------------- I recommend to accept Jack as a Debian Developer.
