Summary for Marc Horowitz <marc@mit.edu> Identity -------- pub 1024R/1CF27FD5 1996-12-11 Marc Horowitz <marc@mit.edu> sig 3C86260F 2001-07-08 Sam Hartman <hartmans@debian.org> Background ---------- Marc has been developing open source since before it was called that, when he was an undergraduate at MIT working for Project Athena in 1989-1990. He contributed to, and continues to contribute to, the Kerberos authentication system and the Zephyr instant messaging system. Other project he has been substantially involved with are the PGP keyserver, and NetBSD, where he has been a developer for several years. Philosophy & Procedures ----------------------- Marc understands Debian's philosophy and agrees with it. Tasks & Skills -------------- Marc has packaged mysql++, a C++ library for MySQL (and other SQL databases soon). The package is ready now, after Gergely Nagy and I have given Marc suggested some improvements.
