Policy and Procedures
---------------------
Bjorn and I discussed the Social Contract, DFSG, debian maintainer
responsibilities, the DMUP and also a little bit about the procedures
for NMUs. He demonstrated to my satisfaction that he understands all
of the above. He also explicitly agreed to the SC, and agrees to
abide by the DMUP. He also answered some questions on copyrights and
licenses to my satisfaction.

Tasks and Skills
----------------
Bjorn has already packaged wireless-tools (tools for manipulating
Linux Wireless Extensions). The package is already in woody, sponsored
by Joey Hess - I contacted Joey who said he had no problems with the
package both as a sponsor and user! He also wants to package several
other applications related to mobile internetworking. Specifically, he
has packaged Dynamics-HUT mobile IP (an open source implementation of
Mobile IP , RFC2002). I took a look at the package which was mostly
lintian clean except for a minor policy nitpick, which he promptly
fixed. He is one of the upstream authors of Dynamics-HUT, and is
working in his company to build a mini debian distribution that is
suitable for putting on compact flashes. Yes, I think Bjorn has the
skills necessary to be a debian developer!
