Bug#694869: RFS: fossil/1:1.24+dfsg-0.1 [RC] [NMU]

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: important

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my NMU (with maintainer approval) of the package
"fossil". It fixes 2 RC bugs in unstable (see changelog below).

The version replaces 2 non-free files with empty ones, as requested by the
maintainer (see #692623).

A T-P-U upload is pending to fix these issues in testing (this version is also
on mentors), but the release team requested a fix in unstable first (#694859).

Please note that, during the build process, some tests return errors. These
errors are also present in the version currently in unstable and they don't
fail the build.
