You do. You will get a reject mail. If you get neither information,
being it an acknowledge or a reject message, it means the importer
crashed. That should not happen of course, but it happens sometimes.

In some rare cases no mail is sent, because the uploader couldn't be
identified. In such cases we can't do anything of course.

That's a feature. Well, let's call it a feature. The idea behind is to
keep a history of comments referring to older versions of the package,
letting reviewer know of older, already resolved problems.

That way they can check easily if you solved a given problem with a
successive upload.
