Just after the release of 2.5.0, upstream changed its build system
(starting to use gradle) and released a 2.5.0-gradle upstream version
with the same code but a different gradle-based build system.
  So the -gradle suffix have been here only for one upstream
release. All things done to handle it can be removed now.
