Greetings, for a few years I have been using live-boot on a USB key install so I have a portable linux desktop with me. I never wanted to partition my usb key, so I always had my live-rw file at the root of the usb key. This worked fine until recently so I set out to patch it. Now I am not sure if there is a design consideration to forbid using the live media as a persistence backing, but here is the patch anyway to kickstart that discussion. So far I have only tested this with custom-ov and live-sn.cpio.g and they both work just fine. Thanks!
