I have had an idea about that. What about having debian-installer in
main, as we do now, well at least once joeyh does a new upload, which
seems to be waiting your ok, and have everything built, except the
miboot boot floppies. Then we clone this (or part thereof) in contrib,
once miboot is contrib ready, that is, and have it build the contrib
part of debian-installer, hopefully with just a single keyword switch or
something.

This will hardly make debian-installer contrib, as the contrib parts are
disabled for the debian/main build, but so we don't disseminate the
source tree all over the place.
