Hi Jamillah.

I think you may be a bit confused about the list you are asking your
questions on.  The debian-laptop list is about issues running Debian
GNU/Linux on various laptop hardware.  Viruses on GNU/Linux are very
rare, so I must assume that if you had a virus on your system,
then you are using some commercial operating system on your computer
which we do not support here.

If I am mistaken and you are indeed running Debian GNU/Linux, then my
apologies and could you please provide us with more detailed information
about your setup.
