PCMCIA problems ( system crashing)

I have a Compaq presario 1685. I installed debian 2.0 ( hamm ) on it i 
configured the PCMCIA with the option i82365. When im runnig the module
"insmod 182365.o" the system crash

here the probe dump:
INTEL PCI probe: 182365sl DF found, 2 sockets

please i need help
I read many times the HOWTO!

Linux is not my os. It's my religion
