Acer TravelMate 621 XC - any experience

Hi there,
my new Acer laptop is arriving this weekend :) and I'm going to run Debian 
GNU/Linux on it.
Has anyone here got any experience that would help me to overcome potencial 
pitfalls?
I've got quite good experiance with Debian on desktop machines.

I'll share the experience I get with the Acer laptop anyway.
