Je viens d'expérimenter un bug de traduction assez marrant. En utilisant mkfs, une question m'était posée (en anglais) pour savoir si je souhaitais poursuivre l'opération. Le choix donné est "[y,N]", ce qui veut dire que tout ce qui n'est pas "y" est rejeté par défaut. Et là ça devient intéressant : la réponse elle a été traduite, ce qui fait que mkfs attend un "o", et non un "y". Le "y" étant pris comme une annulation :
$ sudo mkfs -V -t ext4 -L "persistent" /dev/sda3
mkfs de util-linux 2.29.2
mkfs.ext4 -L persistent /dev/sda3
mke2fs 1.43.4 (31-Jan-2017)
/dev/sda3 contient un système de fichiers ntfs étiqueté « persistent »
Proceed anyway? (y,N) o
En train de créer un système de fichiers avec 2097152 4k blocs et 524288 i-noeuds.
...
Il faudrait soit que la question soit traduite, soit que la réponse attendue ne le soit pas, soit qu'on puisse répondre indifféremment "y" ou "o".

I just get a funny translation bug. I was using mkfs, and it asked me a question (in English) to know if I want to continue the operation. The choice was "[y,N]" meaning that if I don't answer "y", it will cancel everything. Here is the funny part: the answer expected has been translated in French, so if I wanted to continue, I had to answer "o" (oui), and not "y", "y" was canceling the operation:

Either the question is translated, or the answer is not, but this way is very disturbing. We could also be able to answer both "y" or "o".
