Je préfère, dans ce cas identification. Pour qu’il y ait  
authentification, il faudrait au moins un échange de clés ou de  
signature.
Ici, ce n’est qu’un identifiant et qui circule le plus souvent en clair…

Je mettrais aussi « indiqué » à la place de « spécifié ». Dans :
