Hello! I have ASUS N750JK laptop whith external subwoofer. This have Realtek
ALC668 codec. By default, sound be played, but no output for subwoofer. In
PHONON (i use KDE), no exist audio profiles for surround2.1. I try load kernel
module snd-hda-intel whith option asus-mode4 (in file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-
base.conf: options snd-hda-intel model=asus-mode4). I can see audio profiles
2.1/4.0/5.0 in phonon, but 2.0 work only and internal microphone don't work.
Next try - it is compile new kernel. New kernel do not fix my problem.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
