That is a good question, I think yes if anybody is interested to
further pursuade this, but I fear it must be upstreamed as report. I
personally will not have the capacity to coordinate this.

Given you still have the issues, I'm inclined to yes, to reopen the
bug, but I really would like to defer this decision to you as the
person affected.

As you might have noticed, I had done some cleanup of just quite old
bugs, either without resolution or with indication they affected old
versions of the kernel. The massive list of open bugs in such a state
would otherwise cause us recurring problems, but it is a general
problem. But if the bug is still valid, then the intention is not to
"hide" the problem.

So if it's important enough, please reopen!
