Package: src:linux
Version: 3.10.3-1
Severity: normal

i've now had two crashes with this kernel while operating from AC
power (the choice of power source may be a red herring; i just haven't
noticed it when operating from battery yet).

I note that the crashes are preceded by huge amounts of spew from the
kernel like the following (recovered from /var/log/kern.log):

Attached is a digital photograph of the backtrace visible during one
of these crashes (the backtrace doesn't make it to disk. If you'd
prefer a higher-resolution version of the backtrace, please let me
know.

the trace seems to be:

 update_curr
 task_tick_fair
 tick_sched_do_timer
 scheduler_tick
 update_process_times
 tick_sched_handle
 tick_sched_timer
 __run_hrtimer
 hrtimer_interrupt
 smp_apic_timer_interrupt
 apic_timer_interrupt

RIP cpuacct_charg

let me know if there is other information i can supply or test.

I don't know anything about the Intel Management Engine, and what i
turned up on gmane doesn't look particularly confidence-inspiring
(though i'm not particularly qualified to assess this):

 http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/1131900

should i try blacklisting the module?
