Version: 3.2.23-1
Severity: normal

Wireless connects normally, but after some minutes it disconnects and won't reconnect anymore.
dmesg shows:

[ 1945.262764] wlan0: authenticate with 00:02:61:55:c6:37 (try 1)
[ 1945.292948] wlan0: authenticated
[ 1945.293362] wlan0: associate with 00:02:61:55:c6:37 (try 1)
[ 1945.294169] wlan0: deauthenticated from 00:02:61:55:c6:37 (Reason: 1)
[ 1948.594696] wlan0: authenticate with 00:02:61:55:c6:37 (try 1)
[ 1948.792827] wlan0: authenticate with 00:02:61:55:c6:37 (try 2)
[ 1948.795105] wlan0: authenticated
[ 1948.795333] wlan0: failed to insert Dummy STA entry for the AP (error -17)

This is not happening with 3.1, and I haven't seen it with other wireless routers
(this is occuring with some TILGIN router)

There is a patch:

http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.wireless.general/84095

which seems to be related/fixing this? Is it possible to backport it?

thanks,

Florian

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
