Just installed extra 2GB of memory in my laptop
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Tried to replace the kernel by the compiled kernel for SID(unstable)
* What was the outcome of this action?
Didn't work
* What outcome did you expect instead?
To recognise the 4GB of memory installed in the system
