Package: firmware-linux-nonfree
Version: 0.36
Severity: important

I have installed debian wheezy on my laptop, and the graphics work
without any problems. But I get a kernel message, that I needs the
r600_microcode. So I installed the package firmware-linux-nonfree for
better 3d performance. After I while, I remove the package. But my
system does not boot anymore. It shows all the messages, but a while
before it shows the display manager the screen freezes.

$ lspci

RS880M [Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series]

So there isn't a bug in this package...

I think this is the same as bug #607194 which should be fixed in linux
3.2.35-1.
