Bug#626441: general: When first logging in, usb wirelesskeyboard/mouse is not working
Ben, I will send this tomorrow. I found a match on gdm-greeter from a fedora distro, will look for this as well.
I have also noticed tweaks to ensure usb devices don't take sound cards.

Please provide the kernel log as shown by 'dmesg'.
