If I understand the Debian changelog correctly, that commit should be a
part of 3.0.0-2/3.0.0-3 (currently in sid)?   Given its high urgency I
will probably wait for it to reach testing.

Is there anything beyond the dmesg log snippets I should include in such
a report?
