This morning I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.32-5-amd64, since then I
encounter major problems while booting the system. Segmentation faults
occur in the kernel.
Sometimes I make it into the maintenance console and sometimes I even
make it into my X session.

I'm running squeeze and it's been somewhat more than a week ago since I
installed it, so the system is still relatively clean.
I already tried to disable the VirtualBox module but it does not help.

While running the system, things do not appear to run as they should be.
For instance, the chromium browser may end up in a zombie state, which I
haven't seen before.
