There is a SMP-Problem with a couple of Athlon Socket A mainboards and Debian 686 stock kernel has SMP included by default. Result: The new Debian-Installer does not more work since you can not use another repository for the linux-image. This mean, if you have to admin severl 100 Socket A machines you can not more install over official Debian mirrors and must maintain your own one containing additional the k7 linux-image-2.6 Thanks, Greetings and nice Day Michelle Konzack Systemadministrator Tamay Dogan Network Debian GNU/Linux Consultant -- Linux-User #280138 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org/ ##################### Debian GNU/Linux Consultant ##################### Michelle Konzack Apt. 917 ICQ #328449886 50, rue de Soultz MSN LinuxMichi 0033/6/61925193 67100 Strasbourg/France IRC #Debian (irc.icq.com)
