Package: kernel-image-2.4.18-newpmac Version: 2.4.18 I am using Debian Woody on a blueberry ibook, 300Mhz. For sound I use the following modules: i2c-core i2c-dev i2c-keywest soundcore dmasound_core dmasound_pmac The change from kernel 2.4.16 to 2.4.18 has brought improvements in that I can now access the mixer and esound works better under Gnome. But, now artsd doesn't work at all. Both it and Xgalaga to tally destroy the sound so that the modules have to be removed and reloaded. Both worked fine under 2.4.16. Adam
