Reading the  buglog, and the following entry in the changelog of the
package:

initramfs-tools (0.44) unstable; urgency=high

  "O partigiano portami via"

 * hooks/kernelextras: Really fix #335505.

it seems that the bug was fixed in 0.44, but the maintainer used
"notfound" instead of the "close" command to control@b.d.o; the
notfound command just removes the information that the bug was found
in 0.44, if such information was present. It does not record that the
bug is fixed (not present) in 0.44.

Hence, properly closing bug.
