Did a brute-force grep to see what might be the issue here, came up with this: torgo:/lib/modules/2.6.16-2-k7# grep evbug modules.alias alias input:b*v*p*e*-e*k*r*a*m*l*s*f*w* evbug Commenting this line out solved my evbug problems. This seems like an awfully heavy alias line.
