All the [permanent] modules will never be used as i don't have such hardware. At
boottime i get messages (which are not logged) bout device busy when linux tries
to load each of theses modules.

Hi Benoit,
The latest kernels do not use initrd-tools anymore, and at least yaird loads
only the needed modules, so i am closing this bug report. If initramfs-tools
still loads them, then please file a bug report against initramfs-tools, but i
don't think this is the case.
