pl2303 is fine with Nokia virtual modem on linux-2.6.8 sparc64.
(Has always lived in lap top bag this one :)
Looks like PalmOS sync is a bit iffy so was trying to use Mark/space
Online on PalmOS end and getty on Linux end with other test where some
data corruption had occurred.
