The Sony Clie NR70V is recognized as a mass storage
correctly since 2.6.7, though I'm still unable to mount the
Memory Stick, as it is not assigned a valid scsi-device. It
may be noted that this works like a charm in 2.4 series.
(Tested 2.4.20-31.9 RedHat, unfortunatly I've no vanilla
available.)
Mounting other USB-Storage Devices works perfectly.

Okay, thanks to everyone for the feedback. The Debian 2.6.8 packages
are identical usb-wise to mainline 2.6.8.1 so it should work.
