Hi!

First of all: your guess that it might work out if I stop
the hotplug service, plug in the Clie, wait some time and
then fire hotplug up again did not work out. Maybe I didn't
mention it or you don't know that, by default the Clie is an
usbtty and you fire up a program on the Clie to make it to a
mass storage. So I believe that I had this scenario all the
time as I plug it in and then only after some time, if I
want to access the Memory Stick I start msimport.

Well patching would not be the problem in fact. But I'd need
a bit more than "apply <funny name> patch" as I simply don't
know where to get the <funny name> patch ;)

Ok, didn't find anything in the changelog for 2.6.8/2.6.8.1,
but I'll give it a try. Maybe I just searched for the wrong
token. In case it's fixed there I'll give you a message.

Many thanks for your help so far! :-)
