As a volunteer you can always take the decision of not acting. Anyway, I'm
demanding explanation to the current Linux maintainer. You're clearly excused
for not fixing this before.

However, the situation is that the bugs are currently on RC status. We fix
DFSG-compliance bugs basing on the current SC, and regardless of what
future versions of the SC might or might not require.

I believe it does. Again, future GRs and future versions of the SC all have
a potential effect on DFSG-compliance issues, but that doesn't excuse us from
addressing them.

But I'm not in a rush. Let's wait for William's response on his progress..
