Hey, that's a neat way of doing it! The only thing is that it
won't show you that an attachment was originally associated
with the file. Some <<<file attachment : foo.bar (2.8mb) removed>>>
style comment would be a good thing to keep in there. This is
something business users may find more useful.
I've wanted this feature for a while, too, and checked to see
if someone had already filed a wishlist for it - bug # 33219
was opened in 2001, and was closed without any explanatory
comments.
I can't find any other similar wishlist items.
