nothing was purposly broken...I broke it because I added kwin in when it
didn't work.
the x-session-manager piece is being worked out by the X guy..so if it happens
it will be worked out.

what your missing is that the kde2 script is a session manager...so if say
someone uses gnome's session manager and then loads kde2 on top of it you will
then have 2 session managers fighting for control which doesn't work. The
reason for this abrupt remove of it from x-window-manager.
