Intanto ringrazio per l'aiuto? sono riuscito a spostare debian nel nuovo
hard disk.
Sto cercando di installare vmware, mi da però questo messaggio:

The directory of kernel headers (version 2.4.20-alsa) does not match
your
running kernel (version 2.4.20). Even if the module were to compile
successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.
