Questa non me la ricordo, scusa, ma nella versione di xfree che ho io esiste
il comodo xf86cfg per configurare Xfree86, si può usare anche in versione
per consolle con l'opzione -textmode (si basa sulle ncurses)
Prova queste modifiche, se vedi che non và prova con xf86cfg o xf86config (e
solo testuale, ma la sua potenza non ha paragoni secondo me) altrimenti
richiama :)))
Ah, dimenticavo: all'inizio non usare DRI o altre chicche, fai prima
funzionare il server X, dopo provi ad abilitarle: spesso sono causa di
mancati o strani avvii che allungano la risoluzione dei problemi.
