Once I met the similar problem, but it disappeared with no modification 
to ssh.

1. Please tell me your glibc version?
2. Could you try 
 <http://ftp2.v6.linux.or.jp/pub/Linux/IPv6-2/ssh-1.2.27-IPv6-1.5.2-patch.gz>?
