[fixed] Kernel Panic during 20010810 ISO install
Hi,
Here is a report of a kernel panic i had when i tried to install the
cd-20010810.iso.gz on a DELL 7150 production system (not beta)
I will add that i didn't add any swap during cfdisk stage.
This happened as the base packages were being installed on the disk.
Here is the message i had :
Kernel Panic: map_single: Could no allocate IO TLB (16384 bytes)
Kernel Panic: map_single: Could no allocate IO TLB (16384 bytes)
In interrupt handler - not syncing
Thanks to bdale, i added swiotlb=32768 and install ran fine.
Philippe.
