Re: Thai d-i translation announcement
Hey Theppitak!
Welcome to Deb18n !! :D
Theppitak is our courteous and very hard-working Thai team-leader at
Gnome. It's very good news indeed, to have him here at Debian.

I'm happy to announce that debian-installer translation

The language coordinator is me. And a backup coordinator
is Isriya Paireepairit (markpeak-at-gmail-dot-com).
You can also contact our team mailing list (Cc:) on
translation problems.
Good luck with everything, Theppitak, and please don't hesitate to
ask questions here. :)
The Debian Installer translation process, including its status pages,
is excellent. It is very well-managed.
You will find the status pages for debconf and other files are
dependent on translations being processed through the Bug-Tracking
System (BTS) and implemented by individual developers, and thus they
lag seriously behind the date of completing translations. Comparing
files you've translated at Gnome with their status on the pages here
will show that. It means we need, somehow, to check the current
translation status of each non-Debian-Installer package, before
translating it.
Once you start translating the debconf templates, there is now an
email update system, which works very well.
I hope this is useful, and look forward to hearing more about your
progress here at Deb18n. :)
