Fwd: Bug#311647: INTL:vi

hi guys :)

I'm currently struggling through a LOT of debconf files (I think they breed when we're not looking...) and I can't say I'm keen to add any extra action to the process, but I have been asked about the subject line. My feeble defence is included.

Please consider adding the package name to the subject of the bug
report. Something like "fdutils: Vietnamese translation for debconf"
could be much better, IMHO.

In mine, too, but I was instructed to set the subject line exactly as
"INTL:vi". Most likely that is necessary for a filter action. You
could ask on the debian-i18n list.

The French translators use a subject like this:

"[intl:fr] fdutils debconf templates translation"

See:

Maybe you need at least "INTL:vi" in the subject as in:

"[INTL:vi] fdutils debconf templates translation"

So, what is recommended usage?

(I'm asking those of you who have survived debconf. Anyone who didn't come out the other end in a good state is probably spending more time with wax crayons on white walls...)
