Reading that again: well, yes, that's what Xorg developers expect,

Use the -retro option to make sure you see the mouse moving. Also, since
the zap sequence (ctrl-alt-backspace) is now not enabled by default by
Xorg developers, you can't that your empty Xorg server. Blame them.
