The initial stages of the installation work.  baseHurd unpacks and boots,
native-install does what it should.  The modified initial, developer and
gui shells work.  After this you are on your own.  I am not a Hurd hacker.

However, feed-back about the CDs is very useful as it gives the
development team a useful indication of holes and problems in the Hurd as
a whole.
