What next?

Hi,

I've got The Hurd up and running on a machine now. I've been waiting to
do this for months (years?) and finally got around to it!

I have yet to get to installing apt-get or X or gcc etc, but that is
just around the corner.

I'd like to get involved in contributing to the project. (gnumach, hurd,
debian) and can currently contribute C, C++, perl, php, java, shell
scripting, etc... I can also assist in any web development or scripting
surrounding the projects web pages.

Can someone point me to documentation that I should read up on first?
I'm anxious to learn more about the lower level stuff like the kernel
and libraries around it, and potentially work on those, rather than on
packaging. I'm learning how to package, but that isn't a skill I have
yet.

Pointers anyone?
