I am not sure how much research you have done, however, you may want to
consider looking at http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd.  There are some
nice instructions talking about how to obtain cds.

We shall see.  I hope you consider having it read by someone who knows
GNU/Hurd so that we do not have the same mistakes happen as occured here
in France a few months ago.
