o.k., I understand.... but if you use telnet it is much easier to use the 
internal telnet client:
TELNETHOST=217.126.142.43  (ip address of cluster.smsdx.net)
TELNETPORT=8000

#FIFO_INTERFACE

I tested it, it works!
