Hi there, I heard that the situation might have changed a bit and that we may be able to move forward on this package now? In the interim (since my initial mail offering to update in Debian), the package has been put into Ubuntu without major issues. I believe the situation is now stable enough to put 0.47 into Debian. I'll need some cooperation from the wider GNOME team because the split-out modules (gsettings / pacrunner) will need to either be recommended by some package or added to a task, otherwise libproxy will not be able to use them. It's at the same place as before http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=users/laney/libproxy.git Please let me know if you agree. If you still do not, I am not interested in pushing on this so I'll just continue to maintain in Ubuntu. Oh, and I converted to dh because that's what I'm more used to. If you mind then I have no problem putting it back to CDBS :-).
