just to let you know, the problem remains for 2.3.2.ds1-9:

Setting up libc6 (2.3.2.ds1-9) ...
Current default timezone: 'Europe/Berlin'.
Local time is now:      Mon Nov  3 03:06:01 CET 2003.
Universal Time is now:  Mon Nov  3 02:06:01 UTC 2003.
Run 'tzconfig' if you wish to change it.
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libc6.postinst: line 360:  3454 Illegal instruction     (core dumped) ldconfig
dpkg: error processing libc6 (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 132
