Lo que te dijeron en otro post de usar firehol es muy practico.
Dependiendo de las necesidades de ese firewall que quieres implementar
puedes perfectamente usar firehol
# apt-get install firehol
Una vez instalado, editamos el fichero /etc/default/firehol y lo dejamos
luciendo así:
START_FIREHOL=YES
FIREHOL_LOG_MODE="ULOG"
save/exit
La primera linea activa el firewall; la segunda, desvia los mensajes de
log, dejando la consola libre de estos mensajes tan fastidiosos,
especialmente, cuando se usa 'startx' para entrar a las X.
Pero todavía no hemos terminado, luego escribimos:
#firehol-wizard
Les sale una pantalla, que al final dice:
"Building list of known services.
Please wait..."
Esperas, y despues de unos segundos, veras esto:
"Press RETURN to start. [continue] >"
pulsen Enter
De ahí vas a otra pantalla listando cambios y te lleva al root prompt
(#), y listo, ya has terminado con la configuracion del firewall. Al
reiniciarse el ordenador, se activa todo.
